In Arizona, our roofs take a beating from the intense, constant sun exposure and the unpredictable monsoon seasons that bring harsh wind and heavy rain. Over time, these conditions cause significant wear that eventually requires professional attention to keep the home protected. This concrete tile roof had reached that point, showing signs of aging and damage that needed to be addressed before any leaks could become a bigger issue.
Our team started by carefully removing all the existing concrete tiles to expose the decking and underlayment beneath. We inspected the wood structure to ensure everything was sound and then installed a fresh, high-quality synthetic underlayment. This layer is critical because it acts as the primary water barrier for the home. Once the new underlayment was secure, we reinstalled the tiles, ensuring every piece was properly positioned to handle the desert elements once again. By taking these steps, we ensured that the roof will perform as it should for years to come.
The owner now has a properly sealed and protected home here in Peoria.
