Arizona weather is tough on roofs. Between the intense, constant sun baking the shingles and our heavy monsoon winds and summer rains, this home in Peoria was dealing with significant wear and tear that left the structure vulnerable to potential leaks. When we inspected the property, it was clear that the existing materials had reached the end of their service life and needed a complete upgrade to ensure the home remained protected.
Our team got to work removing the old, degraded layers to prep the deck. We installed a durable synthetic underlayment to provide a modern, reliable moisture barrier beneath the new shingles. This synthetic layer is designed to stand up better to our local climate than older felt products. We also took care to properly seal the chimney flashing to prevent any future water intrusion around the stack, which is a common trouble spot for homeowners in this area.
The owner now has a robust, clean-looking new shingle roof that is ready to handle whatever the next storm season brings to Peoria.
Axis Roofing completed this shingle roof replacement in Peoria, Arizona. The roof is shingle. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
