The harsh Arizona climate, including intense sun, extreme summer heat, and seasonal monsoon storms, eventually takes its toll on any roof. For this home in Scottsdale, the concrete tile roof had reached a point where the layers beneath the tiles were no longer providing reliable protection against the elements. Over time, exposure leads to materials drying out and becoming brittle, which increases the risk of leaks during heavy rain. We were brought in to perform a full tile roof replacement to restore the integrity of the home's primary defense system.
Our team carefully removed the existing concrete tiles to access and replace the worn underlayment, ensuring a clean, durable foundation for the new installation. We also addressed key areas like flashing and vents to prevent moisture intrusion. By focusing on quality installation and using materials built to withstand our local conditions, we ensured the roof is properly sealed and protected. The homeowners now have a secure, renewed roof that is ready to handle whatever the Scottsdale weather brings next.
Axis Roofing completed this tile roof replacement in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a concrete tile roof. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
