Arizona weather is tough on roofs. Between the intense, constant sun and our occasional heavy monsoon storms, the concrete tiles on this Scottsdale home were showing signs of wear that threatened the home underneath. Over time, the materials beneath the tiles can break down, making the structure vulnerable to leaks during our summer downpours. It was time for a full replacement to restore the protection this home needs.
Our team arrived to carefully remove the aging concrete tiles and install a new, reliable underlayment layer to ensure a waterproof barrier. We then reset the original tiles, ensuring everything is properly aligned and secured to handle the wind and heat. This process helps keep the attic space protected and the home interior cooler during the hot afternoons.
With the project complete, the homeowner can rely on a sound, refreshed roof system that is built to stand up to the desert climate for years to come. It was a pleasure to help another resident in Scottsdale maintain their home with a quality roofing solution.
Axis Roofing completed this tile roof replacement in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a concrete tile roof. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
