In the desert climate of Surprise, Arizona, our roofs face significant challenges from the intense summer heat and frequent monsoon storms. High winds and heavy rain can easily damage concrete tiles, causing them to crack or shift out of place. When a roof sustains this kind of damage, it leaves the underlayment exposed, which quickly leads to leaks and further structural issues if left unaddressed. It is critical to secure these areas as soon as possible to protect the interior of the home.
Our team was called out to perform an emergency roof tarp service to mitigate the risk of water intrusion. We carefully inspected the damaged sections of the concrete tile roof to locate the breaches. After clearing away broken debris, we installed a heavy-duty tarp over the affected area, securing it properly with weighted sandbags to ensure it stays in place despite the local wind conditions. This immediate action provides a necessary barrier against the elements while a more permanent repair is scheduled. With the temporary protection now in place, the homeowner has secured their residence in Surprise against further weather-related damage.
Axis Roofing completed this emergency roof tarp in Surprise, Arizona. It is a concrete tile roof. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
