In Phoenix, we often see roofs take a beating from the combination of intense desert heat and powerful monsoon storms. This house recently dealt with water coming inside because its shingle roof had been affected by those harsh conditions. Over time, the extreme weather can cause shingles to shift or lift, which opens up gaps that let water seep through whenever a storm rolls into our area. Dealing with these leaks quickly is important to keep the rest of the structure dry and safe.
To help out, our crew went up to inspect the roof and pinpoint exactly where those breaches occurred. We performed an emergency roof tarp service to cover the damaged spots. By securing a heavy-duty, weather-resistant tarp over the affected areas, we created a temporary shield to keep rain out. We also used wooden battens to ensure the cover stays firmly in place against the wind.
With this temporary protection installed, the homeowner can rest easier knowing their house in Phoenix is shielded from any immediate water damage while they plan for long-term repairs.
Axis Roofing completed this emergency roof tarp in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a shingle roof. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
