Arizona weather can be tough on a roof. Between the intense sun and heat that dries out shingles and the sudden, powerful winds and rain during monsoon season, it does not take long for small vulnerabilities to become major problems. When water finds a way underneath the shingle layers, it can quickly lead to leaks inside the home. Our team was called out to address a specific section of this roof that had been damaged, leaving it exposed to the elements and at risk of further moisture intrusion.
To protect the property and prevent any immediate water damage, we performed an emergency tarping service. Our technicians carefully secured a heavy-duty tarp over the damaged area, using wooden batten strips to ensure the cover stays firmly in place despite high winds. This creates a reliable, temporary barrier that keeps the attic and home interior dry until a permanent repair can be completed. The owner now has a secure, weather-resistant solution protecting their home here in Chandler while planning the next steps for a full repair.
Axis Roofing completed this emergency roof tarp in Chandler, Arizona. It is a shingle roof. Like every Axis job, it was photo-documented from start to finish.
